I was born in British Columbia, Canada, but spent most of my childhood on the beaches of Maui. Throughout my life, I’ve been fortunate enough to explore my passions. I’ve dried cherries in the desert mountains of Washington state from the cockpit of a Hiller D model helicopter (yep, they actually use helicopters to keep those cherries dry). I’ve toured with a band down the eastern seaboard in an old beater van, surviving on Arby’s fixins and selling CDs for gas money. I’ve built websites and designed logos for businesses all over North America. Of everything I’ve tried, writing fantasy is by far the most exciting and fulfilling.
My whole life I have been fascinated by stories. Especially the kind that transport me to incredible worlds where the impossible becomes real; where epic battles rage across the centuries. This sense of escape and wonderment is what I hope to embody within my own work.
