About the Author

I was born in British Columbia, Canada, but spent most of my youth on the beaches of Maui. Throughout my life, I’ve been fortunate enough to explore my passions. I’ve had harrowing experiences as a helicopter pilot, drying cherries in the desert mountains of Washington state. 3. H.G. Chambers

Hi Russell – Thank you for your feedback, and your questions.
First of all, I’m very sorry that you were left with a sense of dissatisfaction. That is most certainly not the type of reaction I would want for any readers to experience.

The Gathering Mask is a short story/novella based in The Aeternum Chronicles universe. This story is meant to be supplemental to Recreance, filling in a gap of time within the larger story, and is best read afterwards. I will be updating the intro to The Gathering Mask to better reflect the fact.

If it’s not too late, I would be happy to send you a copy of Recreance, Book One of the Aeternum Chronicles, free for you to enjoy.

  4. Daryl Royal

I just had the chance to read your newest entry into the Aeterum Chronicles: Vigilance and I just wanted to thank you for the great story! It is definitely one that builds as it goes and by the end of it I was bursting with thoughts about where it will go from here. I generally rate a book based on its ability to keep me thinking about it afterward and this series has definitely done that. Once again thanks for the great read and the journey. It’s amazing.

    • H.G. Chambers

Hi Daryl – I’m so glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts.
