About the Author

I was born in British Columbia, Canada, but spent most of my youth on the beaches of Maui. Throughout my life, I’ve been fortunate enough to explore my passions. I’ve had harrowing experiences as a helicopter pilot, drying cherries in the desert mountains of Washington state. I’ve toured with a band down the eastern seaboard in a $2,000 van, surviving on Arby’s fixins…

I just had the chance to read your newest entry into the Aeterum Chronicles: Vigilance and I just wanted to thank you for the great story! It is definitely one that builds as it goes and by the end of it I was bursting with thoughts about where it will go from here. I generally rate a book based on its ability to keep me thinking about it afterward and this series has definitely done that. Once again thanks for the great read and the journey. It’s amazing.

Just finished Defiance, and what an amazing story….. and I’m so sad that this is the final book! Any chance of a “new world” storyline? you know you’ve done well when we don’t want to stop reading about the characters you’ve created! Also, just went to goodreads and it isn’t listed yet will you be entering it so I can write a review? So sorry I can’t write one on Amazon. Anyway, just wanted to say congratulations (from a fellow Vanislander) on a really great conclusion to the trilogy. I look forward to seeing where you go from here.

Thank you Maria! So glad you enjoy the characters (they’re near and dear to my heart as well). While I don’t have immediate plans to extend the series in a “new world” storyline, I wouldn’t rule it out! Currently I’m working on sketching out the plot for a Windwalker sequel, which does take place in The Aeternum Chronicles universe. After that? Who knows! Thanks again for your support 🙂

      Hi Shivani,
Glad you got a chance to check out my home town! It is indeed a lovely place, if not a cloudy one in winter. You are correct – some excellent book stores, and while the rain can get dreary after a time, it does indeed make for some good writing weather. Take care!
